How much...

...do I love the website Miranda July made for her new book:

No One Belongs Here More Than You .

Fabulous.  I want to do something even half so creative as that!

Genius! I have just spent the last ten minutes looking for a dry wipe pen so I can start writing on my fridge or the cooker - they both would work. :-)

i LOVE it!!

sounds like the kind of thing i would do (and get bored of half way through it!)

Yes, that's proper ace.

Let me say that your blog is very pretty too.

Thanks for that.

amillionpieces / Website (12.4.07 15:59)
Ian! I only have a permanent marker, I'm not so sure it'll work

Pinky, we should all blog like that.

DocT, Thanks, I just need to add some kitchen appliances.

pinkjb (12.4.07 16:35)
i'd love to blog like that... i might find some things to write on!

Very original, and a breath of fresh air. I'm off to attack the side of my fridge with a marker as we speak.

thats WAY cool x

ooh dry wipe pens on a window work equally as well, my best friend and I had a ball with them and boarding school windows.. until we were demanded to stop!

Georgia (13.4.07 14:32)
That was meee ^

That is so cool..I'm very late I realise. I am very tempted to go and buy her book merely due to that!

Sketches / Website (14.4.07 08:28)
umm...i would like to differ a little, i mean it is very original and all, but i got bored half way by all the clicking, i like all the info to be on one page or max 2-3 pages...

AMP,
Buenos Tardes.
It's me, glowboy trying to find out if u've forgiven me. TY for drawing my attention to the dry wipe board (former teacher, u see). It brought back fond memories.
I'll go quiet for a bit but may need to ask for ur advice re our mutual friend, the captivating Cardy Lady.
I will have to get her into full leathers next and need to check, again, her vital stats.
Happy blogging.

That's such a brilliant website, its simplicity is genius!

cardylady / Website (14.4.07 14:28)
that last comment was from me! spookily at the same time as glowboy and we're 600 miles apart!

cardylady / Website (14.4.07 14:32)
what kind of leathers?

Glowboy / Website (14.4.07 14:41)
Cher Cardy,
im sure amp will permit my further intusion upon his perspicacious bloggage.
Not spooky, rather synchronicitous. We're not 600 miles apart from each other in any meaningful sense: no we are much closer: we r made for each other...we r pornbloggers...we r sea canoeists...we r...
Motor cycle pillion passenger leathers, of course...

cardylady / Website (14.4.07 14:48)
hee hee, you're so right, we are both filthy minded sea canoeists, well I'm only a sea canoeist in theory at this stage, so how big is your bike?

Glowboy / Website (14.4.07 15:05)
Cardy,
I trust AMP will permit this last imposition upon his cultured bloggage.

U, my Cardy Lady, know that it's MASSIVE...ur glowboy...

amillionpieces / Website (14.4.07 15:54)
Georgia! no fair that they made you stop!

Amy, you should, g;wan!

Sketches, hehe, s'all good, I know what you mean, I just waste all my life on line so have more time to look

Glowboy, forgiven, Sir? Of course, as long as you won't hold cardy's secret love for me against me, she is only human after all.

Cardy, that is kinda spooky! I saw all the comments come through my e-mail and thought it was spam attack, I should have known it would be you two *ahem* canoeists.

Friggin' ace.
No Java. No Applets dancing around. No CSS bouncing around in the background. Just JPEGs, and a very simple mission statement.
Design: A++.

fabulous / Website (14.4.07 21:37)
hehe thats so funny. Your not the only one blogging this. lol

amillionpieces / Website (14.4.07 23:30)
Mike, I know, she thoroughly shows up all of us who apparently do this for a living!

Fab, yes, lol!

Arty / Website (16.4.07 14:44)
Oh, THAT was SO COOL!
I am in awe of Miranda July, even though she shares the same first name as the she-devil in Devil Wears Prada, which I happen to be reading at the moment.

amillionpieces / Website (16.4.07 14:51)
Oh, I've never read it, but I thought Miranda was just marvellous in the movie!

Arty / Website (16.4.07 21:43)
The Miranda in the movie is better than the one in the book, though Streep captures the essence of the original perfectly. So now when I am reading the book, that firm clipped voice is in my head. (In the book she has a British accent, but I still prefer the movie Miranda.)

Arty / Website (16.4.07 21:44)
Forgot to mention, she is probably patterned on Anna Wintour, the British former-editor of American Vogue...

Huw / Website (17.4.07 12:28)
Fair play, that is brilliant.

amillionpieces / Website (17.4.07 16:00)
Arty, yes, she is now the all powerful editor in chief, no? I noticed she is even in charge of mens vogue!

Huw, indeed!
